Launched under the vision of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, the initiative aims to make public services more accessible and efficient for all residents, especially women.

📋 Licensing at Your Doorstep

According to DIG Traffic Muhammad Waqas Nazir, the mobile police licensing vans will operate in every district of Punjab. Citizens will now be able to apply for or renew their licenses without needing to visit overcrowded licensing centers.

Initially, 33 vans have been deployed, with the total expected to reach 118 in the coming months.

To promote inclusivity, seven vans have been reserved for female applicants, painted pink for easy identification and accessibility at women’s colleges, universities, and workplaces.

👩‍🦰 Women-Friendly and Efficient

Officials say these mobile units will visit educational institutions and public areas to serve women who face mobility challenges or time constraints.

The system aims to reduce congestion at existing license centers and speed up application processing, ensuring citizens receive their licenses with minimal hassle.

🌟 Public Convenience First

Authorities describe the new scheme as part of the government’s broader digital and mobile governance vision, focused on bringing essential services to the public rather than requiring them to travel.

Officials also confirmed that citizens can track the vans’ locations and schedules through the Punjab Police and DLIMS platforms soon after full implementation.
