Sharjah (City Desk): A shocking case of animal cruelty has surfaced in Sharjah, where a man was caught on CCTV abusing and killing kittens at a local restaurant in Abu Shagara.
The incident took place at House of Grill, where staff had been repeatedly finding dead kittens on the premises. Concerned by the disturbing pattern, the restaurant manager decided to review security cameras — only to discover footage of a man brutally harming the animals.

One of the recordings captured him leaving the scene as a kitten lay injured nearby.
🗣 Restaurant Manager Speaks
Manager Rasheed told Khaleej Times:
“There was no blood found on the cats’ bodies. That’s when we suspected something unnatural and decided to check the CCTV cameras. It was extremely cruel, and the man should be caught. Whether animals or humans, it’s all the same.”

Authorities have yet to confirm whether an official investigation has been launched, but residents and animal welfare groups are demanding urgent action. Locals also fear that the same individual could be responsible for other cat killings recently reported in the area.
